The ambition of the Belgian Online Super Series is very clear: to sportify poker! And sport means... competition! Every year, 9 finalists are selected to compete against each other in the hope of winning an incredible dream package worth €20.000. To give this competition the resonance it deserves, it was essential to combine this campaign with a coherent, effective, and impactful marketing strategy. Concept Booth supported the BOSS from A to Z in this process: in the organization of the competition’s live events, but also in branding, content creation, and communication through the development of a cutting-edge website and social media management.
The 9 finalists compete against each other in various live challenges. The BOSS Bootcamp is undoubtedly the most prestigious of those events. During four days, the candidates reside in a luxury villa and play daily poker games. Those games take place on a feature table which is broadcasted and commented live in two languages.
To ensure high-quality live streaming, Concept Booth brings several professional technical teams together. On one side, the team responsible for the feature table and the introduction of all real-time poker data (private and common cards, stacks evolution, actions at the table, etc.). On the other side, there are separate French and Dutch commentary booths. Lastly, a production team takes care of transforming the entire process into a fluent show.
The struggle to qualify among the 9 finalists, the arrival of candidates at a breathtaking villa, the disappointment after enduring a bad beat, but above all... the joy when one manages to clinch, after several weeks of competition, the much-coveted BOSS title and the incredible first prize! What better way to share all these emotions than through videos?
Throughout the BOSS, Concept Booth is responsible for producing visual material with the aim of making the entire poker community feel like they are part of the campaign. Briefings, set-up arrangements, and editing: everything is calculated in detail and we make sure the generated content meets the highest quality standards.
To ensure the consistency of the brand, a brand book was developed. This clearly defined the identity, logo, tone of voice, typography, and core values of the brand. This new identity can be found in all the different BOSS campaigns and contributes to strengthening brand recognition within, and even outside, the Belgian poker community.
BOSS's ambition with their web portal? To give full access to all information about the competition, but above all to build an expertise in the poker sector in terms of communication and digitalisation. To meet this challenge, we put together a specialized team of web designers and content producers. The result: a website developed in - barely! - 1 month that offers an exclusive insight into a discipline still too little known to the general public.
